Second Triangle printing. Originally published by Frederick A. Stokes in 1933. This fine detecting mystery featuring Ellery Queen originates with the murder of a former film star cowboy during his participation in a rodeo wild west show. Small faded spot to the lower spine end, soiling to the covers, end-papers age-toning and pages tanning as usual, else very good and sturdy, in red linen with black titles and pistol illustration to the front cover and with black titles to the spine, sewn binding; in an about very good dust jacket with short shelf-edge tears and creases, wear and nicks to the spine folds and flap folds, larger chips and tears to the upper and lower spine ends and corners, clear tape reinforcing to the verso; code 0039 printed to the front inner flap.
