448p. REBOUND. A hardcover book that has been rebound with a new brown cloth spine and new endpapers, retaining the original printed boards. The boards are crinkled and scuffed. Two small pieces torn off the bottom of page 57, not encroaching upon the text. Occasional marginalia, all of which appears to have been done by an early owner. Many pages in the middle have splattery-looking, light brown stains, most visible in the span of pages 130-170. Other blemishes scattered throughout. Binding is secure. Good, sturdy reading condition. Volume 1 only (of 2). An interesting antique publication with plenty of information on early Ohio history. Contains all monthly issues from January through December 1842. Black and white plate at the beginning of each issue.
