6 x 9 in. 708 pp., plus glossaries and indexes. Full brown calf with marbled endpapers. Numerous hand-colored plates, one fold-out, not colored. Condition is FAIR ; both boards detached but present. Spine leather has loss and chips, corners have wear and mild loss. Text has some faint water stains and a touch of foxing but is predominantly very clean and bright - the plates have some minor foxing, and a few with water stain to edge. All plates present. Label from a Botanic Drug shop in Boston on front pastedown. Text deals with natural and herbal cures, section of women's health. Sci/Rare. RGR.
