Add to basketOriginal tour book for the second American leg of Anthrax's Among the Living tour, which featured Exodus and Celtic Frost as opening acts. Includes the complete itinerary and travel schedule for the band, with contact information for key personnel and hotels, call times, etc. The band's third studio album, released on March 16, 1987, Among the Living broadened the scope of Anthrax's subject matter with socially conscious lyrics addressing prejudice, violence, drug abuse, and the hollowness of the music business. It also firmly established the band's place among the "Big Four" of thrash metal, along with Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth. [46] pp. with a calendar, a time zone map, and an illustration. Printed on the recto only, with the exception of the map leaf. Bound with a staple in printed red paper wrappers (5 1/2" x 8 1/2"). Light staining to a few pages, with some creasing adjacent to the staple on both the front and rear panels. Provenance: From the personal collection of former Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz, acquired at auction in May 2019.
