Enriqueta is always very well dressed, and Gabriel is something of a dandy. They don’t know each other, but they both love buying coats. One day, after each has purchased a brand new coat, disaster strikes for both of them: a button falls off of each of their coats! Enriqueta travels the city looking for her button, to no avail. Gabriel can’t find his either. They each find a different button, however, and sew it onto their respective jackets. One day, they’re both at a restaurant, and from across the room they notice that they have each other's buttons—and so their love story begins. Whimsically illustrated, this charming tale folds out to tell the stories of Enriqueta and Gabriel in two separate books.
