745 pages of text with numerous figures. Followed by 20 full page plates, in b/w and colour, and several pages of "Scraps". Pages are in very good condition; edges have darkened and a small stain on the upper corner goes throughout the book. Last few pages have small tears on the fore-edge. Marbled edges. Red endpapers. Rebound in brown cloth with gilt spinal titles on black labels. Some tearing on the labels. Corners and edges lightly worn. Binding tight and secure. VG Size: 7 1/2 x 10 1/2.
