APPLIED VEGETATION SCIENCE

"Applied Vegetation Science focuses on community-level topics relevant to human interaction with vegetation, including global change, nature conservation, nature management, restoration of plant communities and of natural habitats, and the planning of semi-natural and urban landscapes. The book in the Section Chapter is talking about forest recovery following shifting cultivation, conservation agriculture for combating land degradation in Central Asia, Effect of different mulching materials on maize growth and yield in conservation agriculture systems of sub-humid Zimbabwe and plant co-existence patterns and High-Arctic vegetation composition in three common plant communities in north-east Greenland and in Section Two it talks about anticipating the effects of climate changes, Section Three talks about global warming, Section Four about agriculture and biodiversity and Section Five talks about food security and rural development. I hope this book will inspire people, I like to think that this could be a start of human race to understand the ecosystem, how applied vegetation science can help us restoring and preserving our planet for healthy environment for us and for the next generations."
