No. 6044, 160pp., introduction by Hilary Holt, Ph.D. A translation of a novel called 'Arabellas Opferung'; the original novel, which was reasonably respectable and written by a man named Alfred Frey, was published at Berlin in 1927. It is proable that this was a cover item for a pornographic novel with the same title which appeared secretly the same year. It is a translation of this latter which is offered here. Arabella's Sacrifice is the story of the wife of a diplomat who, to further the career of her husband, give herself to a succession of foreign V.I.P's. Paperback. Light shelfwear. Very good.
