488 pages plus unpaged b/w plates. Hardcover: H 20.25cm x L 13.75cm. No dust jacket. Blue cloth, vibrant gilt stamped lettering to front board and spine, rear board slightly bowed. Edges toned, some staining to bottom edge. 1912 Christmas gift inscription from "Cousin William" on front free endpaper; stain at bottom margin of pages 13-14; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding slightly stressed between second front flyleaf and half-title but otherwise firm. Else an attractive very good copy. Please note that this thick book has an approximate shipping weight of 3.25 pounds and will require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.
