Dark red cloth binding with gold colored print on front cover and spine. Wear and some material loss at tips and spine ends. Some splits and tears in cloth at spine ends. Some small spots on front and back cover. Black end papers. Cover is bowed from the bulge in pages created by the paste-in illustrations. One of the photographs is loose and laid in the front of the book. 500 pages including index. This is a unique book where all artwork is pasted-in rather than printed on pages. All illustrations are in black and white. Some illustrations are cropped postcards. Essentially a hand made book.
