Unsigned, large, beautiful, fine art intaglio print on a luxurious, thick, French "BFK Rives" heavyweight, hand-made paper. Measurements: Sheet: 29 3/4 inches x 22 1/2 inches. Plate mark (image size) 19 7/8 inches x 11 1/2 inches. Depicts what looks to be California Poppies in black and white tones. Condition of print is fine, a few stray smudges well away from the image. It is our surmise that this is a fabulous mono-print, but that is pure speculation. We could go on and on emphasizing how extraordinary the print is but in the end we want what we want so we'll leave to you to see if it moves you. What we can tell you is that we bought this as part of a large lot of hundreds of works on paper, at auction, and that we've had it for a number of years. We've never be able to find out anything more than we are relating now.
