An astounding collection of American Indian art, remarkably acquired by art dealer Eugen Thaw in a little over a decade in the 1980s and 1990s, was presented to the Fenimore Art Musuem. This lavish catalogue raisionne of the entire collection illustrates and discusses every object in this collection, which embraces the art of all the indigenous peoples from the Arctic to the Rio Grande and from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
