ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, NOW IN OUR UNIVERSITIES.: What future for schools and society?

The book you have in your hands is more than just a book: it's an invitation to sail into new waters. At a time when artificial intelligence is penetrating the academic world with a force that can seem overwhelming, it is becoming rare to hear a voice that is neither paralyzingly fearful nor naively enthusiastic. Here, the author proposes a "middle way". But beware: this is not a lukewarm compromise or a convenient position. It's a demanding path mapped out by a singular point of view. Backed by a dual culture - that of the classical humanities and that of the digital practitioner - he makes an unvarnished diagnosis of our times. His observation is clear: "AI replaces those who don't know how to use it." Yet, throughout these pages, this sentence is transformed. Chapter after chapter, what might have seemed a threat becomes a promise of emancipation. The author takes us behind the scenes of the great language models, questions the role of the professor in the digital age, and outlines concrete ways in which the university can preserve its soul in the face of the tech giants.
