Tall hardback, blue gray boards, full color paste down of the Grand Canyon on cover. No jacket, first edition, pencil or charcoal sketches of the Grand Canyon and nearby, accompanied by prose. Light damp stain to cover, one edge and one corner, sounds worse than it is, not even close to title or paste down, otherwise very good. Also a two page letter signed by author to Mrs. Tommy Thomas, in Solome, AZ. dated August 18, 1946, and a enclosed signed personal check to Mrs. Thomas dated same as letter, uncashed. The letter head reads, Donald H. Fairchild. The letter is enclosed in a No. 10 envelope with a beautiful full color drawing of the Grand Canyon at one end, an original piece of his art work in it self, signed and dated. Mailed from Pasadena, CA, August 19, 1946. All are in very good condition. One of a kind set, book, check, letter, and decorated envelope. Prescott, AZ.
