JACK: My ASD Obsession is an autistic true-crime investigation into the Whitechapel murders of 1888. It examines the victims, the crime scenes, the Ripper letters, the police response, the suspects, the social conditions of Victorian Whitechapel, and the way an unknown killer became one of history’s most enduring criminal myths.

This book does not claim to solve the case. Instead, it explores why the mystery still holds such power, why no suspect fully closes the story, and how poverty, policing, press sensationalism and public fear helped shape the legend of Jack the Ripper.

Written from a personal autistic perspective, the book also reflects on obsession, pattern-seeking, serial-killer fascination, unresolved history and the responsibility that comes with studying real violence. The author’s own Ripper-inspired tattoo becomes part of that honesty — not as admiration for the killer, but as evidence of how deeply the case became fixed in the mind.

At its heart, this is not a celebration of Jack the Ripper.

It is a victim-focused true-crime study that returns again and again to the names that matter most:
