These were some of the questions plaguing 14-year-old Jeremiah, who lives in a small conservative town where he attends a strict fundamentalist Christian school. His parents hold onto the same values.
To add to the strain of things, he finds himself conflicted about his feelings for his classmate.
He knows better. Being gay is a sin. Can fundamentalist Christianity stand in the way of blooming romance?


Based on the author's own experiences, Ashamed is a fictitious story of a young boy trying to navigate the world of Christian Fundamentalism while struggling with his own sexuality.
