This new second edition of the successful 2016 Atlas of Adult Autopsy Practice is fully updated and refreshed with novel illustrations, and data refinements. Professor Suvarna was a Senior Cardiac Pathologist in the UK with a wide legal, medical and academic background in cardiac disease. 

He had a special interest in cardiovascular and respiratory/thoracic pathology, and was the lead examiner for the Certificate for Autopsy Training (CHAT) for the Royal College of Pathologists, as well as the lead for the pathology component for the Royal College of Surgeons.

He had experience of several decades of surgical cardiac pathology alongside autopsy related pathology and was a national referral point for complex cardiac disease and provided expert court testimony.
