Elephant folio, two volumes. In Good condition. Bound in full publisher's blue cloth with maroon labels on the front boards with gold lettering. Spines have black lettering, and significant age toning. Boards have moderate age toning, fading, and significant stains on all boards but primarily on the front boards. Minor dents along the edges, and bumping to spine head/tails and corners. Textblocks have pink labels on the front pastedowns indicating 1953 revisions have been added, and maps have extensive hand coloring added, possibly by the editor Frank Klinge. Cloth index tabs are attached to the pages, has light age toning along the edges, and a range of light to moderate stains on some pages throughout both volumes. Volume 1 leaves are cloth-backed. Shelved in Room A Elephant. CONTENTS: VOL I: Contains 29 maps [double-paged] unpaginated, including a street index list. Published in 1948;-- VOL II: Contains 30 maps [double-paged] unpaginated, including a street index list. Published in 1949.
