Undated, ca. 1855. Unusual coated paper covers. 12 pages, 14 counting the inside covers which include text. Eight of the pages feature hand-colored illustrations. One of the publisher Geo. R. Mooney's "Indestructible Books," "Printed in Oil Colors on Linen Cloth." "These are the Best Books in the Market for Young Children. The Colors, being Printed in Oil, are immovable and can not be rubbed off." Good condition, the spine re-stitched by hand long ago, old staining along the right edge growing fainter towards the back, chip to bottom outer corner of the rear wrap. Uncommon.
