AVI the Ambulance Goes to the Beach (Paperback or Softback)

Can a boat be an ambulance? Without wheels?

Avi the Ambulance is excited to go to the beach and meet his partner Zach's friend Esti and her new ambulance partner.

After making sure his tires are nice and full of air, Avi and Zach head out along the busy streets of Israel. When they arrive at the beach, Avi is confused to meet Noah. Noah is a boat in the lake. He says he's an ambulance like Avi, but Noah doesn't have tires. How can he drive through Israel to bring people to the hospital?

But when it's time to spring into action, Avi realizes Noah's siren, lights, and life preservers make Noah a real water ambulance. Together, the new friends make a great rescue team. This gentle story centers the importance of teamwork and appreciating the different skills and abilities we all bring to our work and relationships.

The fourth book in the beloved Avi the Ambulance series about emergency vehicles in Israel is based on the real life-saving work of Magen David Adom, Israel's Emergency Services System. Back matter includes an illustrated glossary and more information about water ambulances and Magen David Adom's life-saving work.
