About the Author
Myrtle Jean Sharp is a retired business owner, and nurse / caregiver. She is the author of two books, a memoir of her life, When The Angel Came, and a novel, Above or Below. In her memoir, she expresses her pleasure as a child growing up in the time of the great depression. Her wonderful parents gave her more than what money could buy. They gave her love, taught her boldness, and planted within her the seed of positive thinking. All through her life she has thrived on these principles. Her interest other than writing include oil painting, sewing, cooking, bible teaching, counseling, and giving to the needy. She painted the book cover for the novel, Above or Below. She is a member of The Eastern Star, the National Association of Professional Women, A charter member of the George W. Bush Library, An active member of the GOP, A member of the RNC, an honored recipient of the Ronald Reagan presidency, and now serving on the deacon board of her church. She is married to Charles V. Sharp and has raised four children who have blessed them with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. An extra blessing is a great-great granddaughter. Her endeavor to, "reach the moon," is still ongoing.
