Each of these very scarce later printings is published in 1985, and retaining the original dust wrapper. 'The Rose and the Yew Tree' price unclipped, with remaining volumes clipped.Present here are:'Unfinished Portrait', first published in 1934.'Absent in the Spring', first published in 1944.'The Rose and the Yew Tree', first published in 1948.'A Daughter's a Daughter', first published in 1952.These Wesmacott novels typically received better reviews than her detective and thriller fiction, and the truth of Christie's authorship of them was a secret until revealed by a journalist in 1949. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with three price clipped dust wrappers, and one unclipped. Externally excellent. Light spotting and offsetting to endpapers. Dust wrapper back strips sunned, with light tide mark to tail of wraps and back strip of 'Portrait'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages of three volumes age toned, but clean, with pages of 'Spring' clean and bright. Near Fine.
