About the Author
MARC BRODY is a National Geographic grantee and conservationist who has worked for 20 years to conserve giant panda habitat in southwest China. Brody founded Panda Mountain to inspire and teach people how they can take direct action to save endangered animals through the ecological restoration of degraded habitat and ecosystems. When not helping giant pandas, he is actively restoring an oak savanna and upland prairie on his 100-plus-acre property in rural Wisconsin.
