Abstracts of the Collected Works of C.G. Jung

The publication will be gratifying to disciples of Jung, agreeably provocative to followers of other theoretical persuasions, and useful to all graduate psychoanalysts as a general refernce tool.

'Abstracts will be of great historical value to those interested in the range of psychotherapies. The publication will be gratifying to disciples of Jung, agreeably provocative to followers of other theoretical persuasions, and useful to all graduate psychoanalysts as a general reference tool. Indeed, it will be helpful to all who work in the behavioral sciences -psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, and many college graduate and medical students who wish to broaden their knowledge and understanding of analytical psychology. Pastoral councilors and art therapists as well will discover in greater depth Jung's theories of the scope and their potential of their disciplines. And those who may agree with Jung that "the very number of present day 'psychologies' amounts to a confession of perplexity" should find clarification and guidance, whatever their own theories and practice may be".'A little more than a century after his birth, the publication of this compendium of Jung's prolific essays and lectures is an appropriate salute to the man and to all those who are committed to solving mental and emotional ills and to promoting mental and emotional health.'- Francis Waldrop from his Foreword
