Synopsis

About the Author
Sue was born in Wye, Kent United Kingdom. The youngest of four children, she left school at fifteen with no qualifications and became a live-in children's nanny. She married young and had three sons. Being dyslexic proved a challenge. However, Sue achieved a University diploma in "Competitiveness and Entrepreneurism," useful when owning two large employment businesses. She worked in the recruitment industry for over her thirty years and became a "Fellow" of the Recruitment Industry Professionals. She sold her agencies in 2005 and started writing, while in recovery from an illness. She enjoys reading and writing Gritty Family Sagas, Commercial Fiction and Short stories. She lives in Surrey with her husband David, who was best man at her first wedding (therein lies another tale). Her love for writing and storytelling has grown more intense as each year passes. Sue falls in love with her characters be they goodies or baddies, in equal measure. Her other love is the sea, food and drink, and food and drink, (not a typo), travel and browsing old churches. Lastly in her own words, 'I hate stag beetles with a passion, they terrify me. I sing loudly making up my own words as I go along, and still, think I'm a disco diva much to my three sons' embarrassment. "Accident of Fate" is the first of the series of "The Devil They Knew."
