During his long career he taught at the University of Edinburgh School of Architecture, Canterbury School of Architecture, and University of Nottingham. Later in his life he was the Vice-President and Honorary Librarian of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and contributed and edited the "Journal of Architecture". Rebound in half morocco over cloth covered boards, with titles in gilt to morocco spine label, gilt tooling to spine and extremities, renewed endpapers. Decorative edges. Externally generally smart with light wear to extremities, joints and spine rubbed. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to first and last few leaves only, pages otherwise bright and clean.
