About the Author
Salman Akhtar nació en India y allí completo su educación medica y psiquiátrica. As su llegada al EE.UU. en 1973, repitió su instrucción psiquiátrica en la universidad de medicina de Virginia y también estudio en el Instituto Psicoanalítico de Philadelphia. Actualmente es Profesor de Psiquiatría en Jefferson Medical College, e instructor y supervisor analista en el Instituto Psicoanalista de Philadelphia. Es autor, editor, y coeditor de más de 300 publicaciones que incluye libros de psiquiatría y psicoanálisis, así como varias colecciones de poesía. Es también Profesor Residente en la Inter-Act Theatre Company en Philadelphia. Salman Akhtar recibió el Premio Sigourney en 2012. Mary Kay O’Neil, Supervisora e Instructor Analista, del Instituto Canadiense de Psicoanálisis, tiene su clínica privada en Montreal, Quebec. Actualmente es Directora Asociada del Instituto Canadiense de Psicoanálisis (Quebec, inglés). Completo su Doctorado en la Universidad de Toronto, donde trabajo en el servicio psiquiátrico, y fue Profesor Auxiliar en el Departamento de Psiquiatría. Es la autora de The Unsung Psychoanalysist: The quiet influence of Ruth Easser y co-editora de Confidentiality: Ethical Perspectives and Clinical Dilemmas. Sus investigaciones y publicaciones incluyen artículos sobre la depresión y el desarrollo de jóvenes adultos, necesidad de ayuda emocional a madres y sus hijos, contacto post-analítico entre analista y paciente, y ética psicoanalítica. Returns Policy
We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
