About the Author

Kevin Acers is a poet, columnist, social worker, educator, and human rights advocate from Oklahoma City. He calls himself "the non-profit poet," donating all author royalties to selected non-profit organizations. He served four years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the field of Education. He holds graduate degrees in both Teaching and Social Work. He is author of eight books of poetry to date. Retired from working for a living, he divides his time between Oklahoma City and Thailand. To the extent that he is known, he is known as a cat person.
