Acknowledge and Heal: A Women-Focused Guide To Understanding PTSD

You are not crazy. You are not weak. You are not alone.

PTSD doesn’t only happen to soldiers or survivors of the “worst case scenario.” It happens to women every day. Women who keep going, who show up for everyone else, who bury their pain because they were told to be strong.
This is not a book about what happened to you. This is a book about what happens next.
This guide is for you if:

• You’re exhausted from pretending to be fine
• You struggle with sleep, panic, shame, or irritability
• You want real, evidence-based information that makes sense
• You’re looking for tools to feel like yourself again

Written by a trauma therapist who has been there, you won't find sugar-coated affirmations or lectures on how you "should" feel. Instead, you'll find validation and practical tools to help you understand your symptoms. Acknowledge & Heal is a no-nonsense, compassionate, and practical roadmap for women living with the invisible weight of trauma. Whether your trauma came from childhood, combat, violence, betrayal, or burnout, this guide will meet you where you are.
You are not broken. You are not alone. And you don't have to figure this out by yourself.
Recovery is absolutely possible.

This book works beautifully with two companion resources:
The Acknowledge & Heal PTSD Workbook and the Acknowledge & Heal PTSD Journal.
These tools were created to help you go deeper, on your own, in therapy, or with others. Perfect for book clubs, support groups, or therapy settings.

If you’ve survived trauma, you are already strong. Now it’s time to recover.
You deserve this.
