Across Three Oceans

ABOUT THE BOOK Spanning three continents and generations, Across Three Oceans (Teen Samandar Paar) is an epic tale of migration, memory, love, cricket, and power. From the dusty villages of Eastern Uttar Pradesh to the shores of Trinidad, the novel follows Mahabir, a young orphan forced to leave India as an indentured labourer under the British Empire - carrying with him only grief, faith, and the hope of survival. Decades later, aboard a Mediterranean cruise, his great-granddaughter Sylvia - doctor, migrant, and daughter of Trinidad’s former Prime Minister - begins recounting a family history marked by extraordinary triumphs and devastating betrayals. As buried truths emerge, so does a battle for justice, identity, and political redemption. Rich with emotion, history, and intrigue, Across Three Oceans is a sweeping human story about roots that never die, oceans that never truly separate us, and the timeless question of whether power can ever remain pure.
