Action Games

Action Games contains more than forty games that the teacher can use to enrich her activity period. Many of the games require no special materials; others call for readily obtainable equipment, such as whistles, balloons, volleyballs, playground balls, tennis balls, and masking tape. The directions for each game suggest whether it should be played indoors or outdoors.

Art taught aquatics for challenged children, developed a library program for the Stillwater Public Schools, authored A Children's Game Book, was executive director of the Governor's Council on physical fitness in 1964, was chosen as one of the twelve physical education/fitness leaders in the United States in 1965, was an aquatic water safety instructor trainer, a member of the American Red Cross, and a past aquatic director of the Young Men's Christian Association.

Art has many awards. His interests include writing, the culinary and floral arts, and cartooning.
