About the Author: Christine Oberdorf is coauthor of Introduction to Connections (PreK-2 and 3-5), part of Heinemann's Math Process Standards Series. She is a math content coach with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. She is a board representative for the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics and serves as a consultant for various districts and school systems.
