Until now, the only technology to directly demonstrate the role of switching between the active/inactive states of enzymes during plant defence is ABPP. Since the discovery of ABPP ten years ago, several ABPs have been developed and used in pharmacological and physiological studies. However, a broader use of ABPP is still limited by the availability of suitable probes. About the Author: born on March 29, 1981 in Hang Zhou, China. He went to Germany in 2001, proceeded to higher education and obtained Diploma Degree (Chemistry), in 2005 from Technical University Munich, and Dr. rer. nat. Degree (Chemical Biology) by Prof. Dr. H. Waldmann (Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Physiology), in 2009 from Technical University Dortmund.
