Early printing of Merrick's novel and hard to find hardbound in the Tauchnitz edition, from the Collection of British Authors, volume 3296. Stock lightly toned with occasional spotting, moreso to endpapers, but for the most part in VG internal order. Attractive Biarritz bookseller's stamp to half title. Gilt to top of block . Pale blue cloth a little worn and marked and dulled to spine . Leather titlepiece. 16mo. 291pp plus publishers ads.
