XVIpp + 375 pages inc index, original calf with gilt embossed borders and spine with half-raised bands, some damp staining to latter quarter of the book lower outer edge, last endpaper most affected no flaking or brittleness, marbled edges, complete with half title, and with an armorial bookplate of "Samuel Dennis" with motto "Si Deus Pro Nobis Quis Contranos". marbled endpapers, a Good+ copy. Octavo. 22 x 13 cm. *Author was Professor of Medicine at Oxford. 1st published in 1833.
