About the Author
David Kipper, MD, is the co-founder the Medical Group of Beverly Hills. He has been dedicated to treating addictive disorders for more than twenty years and is a member of the California Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Kipper has appeared on all local and major networks as an expert in internal medicine and addiction medicine, and has produced several segments for television, including the Today Show. He is currently co-hosting the popular weekend show, Recovery Advocates, on KABC Radio in Los Angeles. In June 2009, he debuted as a regular contributor to the Living & Health section of The Huffington Post. Dr. Kipper has also written numerous articles for health and fitness magazines, In private practice in Beverly Hills since 1978, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where he received the award for Intern of the Year.
Steven Whitney has published five books. He co-authored the international best-selling, non-fiction book, It's Your Body: A Woman's Guide to Gynecology, translated into 17 languages. His thriller Singled Out was a national best-seller.
