Good condition, used, ex-library (Jackson County Library Services, Medford, OR - WITHDRAWN stamp). The cover is protected by a library Mylar wrap and shows light wear with minor scuffing. The inside back cover carries a library barcode, withdrawal stamp, date-due slip with multiple checkout dates, and an HDQ JUNIOR label. One activity page (a hat survey exercise) has tally marks filled in by a previous user; the remaining interior pages are otherwise clean with no additional writing or highlighting noted. The binding is intact and solid.

Gr 3-5--These introductory math books use games to show how to apply the concepts covered in each volume. Readers are encouraged to solve many different kinds of problems while playing simple board games or deciphering well-known puzzles. There is no detailed description of how to add or subtract. All the answers are in the back of the books, along with simple explanations of how to figure them out. The bright cartoon illustrations, the large print, and ample white space add to the titles' appeal. Good additions to math shelves for those who like to have a little fun with their numbers.
