This little book is part of the Classical Series. "The text of this edition of the Adelphoe is substantially that of Diatzko's edition of the six Greek plays published at Leipzig in 1884, in the Tauchnitz series." It contains 199 indexed pages. Most of it is printed in Greek. The condition is near fine. There is some very light notes writtin in pencil and the previous owner in pencil on the ffl with the date 1897. She also has stamped her name with very light ink on several pages. The red cloth cover is clean; there is slight fading on the spine which has the title and author stamped in gold. The corners are sharp and the binding is tight.
