About the Author

Dr. Zongmin Ma received his Ph.D. degree from the City University of Hong Kong. He is currently a research scientist at Universit� de Sherbrooke, Canada. In addition to his research in databases, information systems, and artificial intelligence, he has published over 30 papers in some international journals, international conference proceedings, and edited books.
