Advances in Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration and Development

As global energy consumption rises, oil and gas reserves are increasingly unable to meet demand. Consequently, offshore exploration and development have gained significant attention. The ocean contains both conventional and unconventional resources, including marine and lacustrine oil and gas resulting from sea level fluctuations and geological shifts. Therefore, increased research on oceanic oil and gas development is vital. This Special Issue presents contributions focusing on recent advances in offshore oil and gas exploration, offering geological and engineering insights to support the exploitation of these resources.
