Advances in Science and Technology

ICAST-2024 is the 7th International Conference organized by K. J Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion, Mumbai in association with University of Mumbai. The aim of the conference is to bring together academicians, researchers, developers, engineers, students, industrial experts and practitioners working in India and abroad promoting research and developmental activities & scientific information interchange in the field of Computer Sciences, Advances in Signal Processing, Wireless Communications & Networking, Applied Sciences and Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies to a common forum. The researchers presenting their work and the attendees attending the sessions will have the fine blend of knowledge and information exchange with the latest advancement & future directions in the mentioned emerging areas as various tracks listed. The conference tracks will be addressed by international delegates sharing the research and development activities in the field of science and technology under higher education, worldwide.

Dr. Vivek Sunnapwar serves as the Principal of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion, Mumbai, bringing extensive academic and research experience in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. With over 1,600 citations on Google Scholar, he is recognized for his contributions to production systems, quality engineering, and sustainable manufacturing. Under his leadership, KJSIT continues to strengthen its focus on academic excellence, research innovation, industry collaboration, and student-centric growth, aligning with global standards in technical education.

Dr. Hariram Chavan is a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion, Mumbai, with an academic career spanning since June 1996. A distinguished researcher in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning, he has authored 24 publications, secured two patents, and undertaken several funded projects. Dr. Chavan has received numerous awards for academic excellence and plays an active role in curriculum development as a Member, Board of Studies (Computer Engineering), University of Mumbai.

Dr. Namrata F. Ansari is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the Dean – Academics at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Sion, Mumbai. Associated with the institute since 2004, she has made notable contributions to academic administration, curriculum development, and quality enhancement. With rich teaching and research experience, she is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in engineering education.
