Advances in Smart Heterogeneous Networks for Policing and Crime Prevention

The evolution of communication technologies from Beyond 5G (B5G) to 6G is transforming how societies connect, interact, and operate. These next-generation smart heterogeneous networks enable ultra-low latency, massive connectivity, and intelligent automation. At the same time, they introduce complex challenges related to cybersecurity, cybercrime, and public safety. As digital ecosystems continue to expand, the intersection of advanced communication technologies with policing, crime prevention, and security management has become increasingly critical. Advances in Smart Heterogeneous Networks for Policing and Crime Prevention explores the role of smart heterogeneous networks in B5G and 6G environments, with a particular focus on interference management, cybersecurity, and applications in policing and crime prevention. This book brings together theoretical foundations, emerging technologies, and practical frameworks for addressing evolving security challenges. Covering topics such as 6G networks, criminology, and threat detection, it serves as a valuable resource for security professionals, law enforcement practitioners, criminologists, academics, researchers, and scientists seeking to understand and leverage next-generation network technologies in support of public safety and crime prevention.
