Golf is a great game that can be played at any age. But it can be confusing to kids because there are rules and procedures that need to be followed in order to make the game fair and fun for everyone. The Adventures of Birdie and Bogey: Learning The Game of Golf tells the story of two brothers who get invited to play golf for the first time. Through their experiences on the course, the two brothers learn what every kid needs to know in order to look and act correctly on a golf course filled with experienced adults. Kids will learn how to properly fix a ball mark, how to replace a divot, how to dress and act on a golf course, where to stand when someone is hitting, what a tee box is, what it means to have honors, how clubs are numbered, when to use which clubs, and more. In the end, they will discover the game of a lifetime.

About the Author
Golf has been a major part of Randy Guyton's personal and professional life for more than 30 years. He started out professionally as an editor for LINKS Magazine, a national golf magazine that focused on where to play rather than how to play. From there, he earned an MBA at the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University in Atlanta, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma. He then entered the public relations arena as president of the Calliope Group and then as a vice president of Fletcher Martin Ewing, where he managed a number of prominent golf companies as clients. While at FME, his campaign for the Precept MC Lady golf ball won the 2002 PR Campaign of the year from PRWeek. In addition to writing this book, he does some freelance golf writing and enjoys teaching his two sons how to play the game.
