About the Author

Jacqueline Selman was born in a small town in north West Virginia, and since has lived in Florida, California and Texas. When she was a child she enjoyed writing poetry and fiction, which has now evolved into a love of writing children's books and non-fiction. Jacqueline is best known as a Christian, wife, mother of many little ones, a Navy veteran, transformational life coach and author of A Hero's Journey: From Mess to Message and her children's book The Adventures of Mooflu. She has acquired many degrees and certifications such as an AS in business marketing, BA in management and a master's degree from the University of Texas as well as certifications in Matrix therapies and Nuro Linguistic Programing.

Jacqueline enjoys reading books to her children every night, which sparked her interest in writing this children's book that she would be able to share with them as well as children everywhere. She is an avid reader and loves the imagination and wonder it creates in the eyes of her children as well as the knowledge she gains between the pages of books she reads. Jacqueline has always had a love of helping others and bringing joy to everyone she meets, she has found that through the written word she can help others and bring even more joy than just to her family and community. She writes to inspire joy, hope and strength in all her readers young and old.

When Jacqueline is not writing or coaching clients of Seeking Serenity, she spends her time with her husband and there young children. Most often you will find her hiking in her beloved woods of West Virginia, skating, gardening, building snowmen when weather permits of course, reading and learning any new thing she can. On occasion you may catch her jumping out of airplanes, hang-gliding off cliffs, white water rafting or bungee jumping off the occasional bridge. She enjoys adventure and traveling, she says with all life has to offer and all the beauty God has given us it would be a waste not to enjoy it.
