About the Authors
Linda D. Vagnetti is a para-professional who has worked with at risk elementary students for over twenty-five years. She lives with her husband in Michigan, has three children, Dana, Sam, and Nick, and three grandchildren, Liam, Vaughn, and Vivian. Linda is currenty working on three children's books, along with a novel about lifes changes.
Erin Abramowicz is a professional illustrator, working for publishing companies and as a freelance illustrator. In December 2016, Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and enthusiastically applies the foundational skills she was taught in formal education to her drawings. She is an accomplished children's-book illustrator, having completed six children's books. Erin enjoys illustrating children's books due to her background in cartooning; growing up she was fascinated by television shows and wanted to create characters and stories like those she watched on television. Erin is eager to illustrate comic books, and has an ever-growing portfolio of work which reflects her interest in comic books, graphic novels, and animation. In addition, Erin has designed and illustrated logos and welcomes commissions for individual works of art. While most comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop to create digital paintings, Erin also enjoys chalk pastel, oil pastel, watercolor, colored pencil, and graphite. Erin's future, personal goals include writing and illustrating a children's book, three comic books, and creating a 2D, platformer video game. Her personal interests include nature, music, superheroes, fantasy, and ancient life.
