(1662). Both published by Thomas Robinson. A courtier during the English Restoration, Osborn found fame for his book of advice for his son. A somewhat controversial text for its misogynist tone, it was parodied in his life time, questioned by Swift and Johnson and even denounced for atheistic undertones. Stout 18mo.
