This is a copy of children classic Aesop Greek tales called Aesop's Fables, copyright 1949, hard cover, no dust jacket, from the translations of Thomas James and George Tyler Townsend, with an introduction by Angelo Patri and illustrations by Glen Rounds. The book is in fair condition with usual school library markings, bumped corners, fraying and edge wear, library reinforced spine, front hinge crack, some page tears but all intact, nice illustrations and 164 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
