Afallon: The Year of the Rabbit

Having never known her real father, Carrie-Anne finds home-life with er bullish stepfather intolerable. The regular dose of abuse and violence inflicted on her now reclusive, inebriated mother is too much to bear. As Carrie-Anne finally leaves home she cannot possibly know the danger that lies ahead, and unwittingly becomes the hunted, embroiled in a perilous journey and pursued by not only an evil Triad gangster, but a spiteful, treacherous and formidable ex-police woman. Both will stop at nothing to regain the prize that Carrie-Anne is unaware she has. Who will help her now? And what is the connection to the Chinese Year of the Rabbit?
