Affects, Cognition, and Language as Foundations of Human Development considers human development from the three most basic systems―affects (our earliest feelings), cognition, and language. Dr. Holinger is a Faculty Member and former Dean at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute and retired Professor of Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.
