Undated but British Library puts date at 1898. B/w frontispiece and one plate at page 24. Publishers original blue cloth boards with lovely decoration and bright gilt titles to front and spine. Binding tight with pushing and light rubbing to spine ends, boards clean. School attendance prize stamp to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. No half-title. Crease to bottom corner of endpaper, frontispiece, title, contents and first page but does not affect picture or text. Very light spotting to fore-edge. Not ex-library.160 pp plus 32 page publishers catalogue at back. Overall a very nice copy of this scarce book. All books are individually described.
